Our Gir cow ghee is prepared using a traditional artisanal process that has been practised since generations by the nomadic cowherd communities known as the gwala community in Somnath-Gir Region, Gujarat. Nutritious milk of these Gir cows is cultured into curd which is then hand churned to produce makkhan (butter). This akkhan is boiled on a firewood flame giving rise to the purest from of ghee known as bilona ghee which contains the essence of health in each drop.
